Breaking a Parmesan cheese wheel
Want to break an entire wheel of Parmesan cheese? Do it the traditional way with our professional knives. You’ll need: a Scoring Knife Pro, two Parmesan Knives Pro, and a Cracking Knife Pro. Below, you’ll find the steps to use these knives—part of BOSKA’s stylish 1896 collection.

How to split/break a Parmesan cheese wheel
Use the Scoring Knife Pro to create a clean incision along the length of the cheese rind. Then, insert the two Parmesan Knives Pro into the rough edges of the cheese and leave them in place. Next, insert the Cracking Knife Pro into 2 to 4 points along the scored line and press firmly into the cheese. Flip the cheese over and repeat on the other side. By applying pressure with the Cracking Knife, the Parmesan wheel will naturally split into two perfect halves.

Dishwasher safe
The Scoring Knife Pro is dishwasher safe, but we recommend washing it by hand to maintain its sharpness for years to come. A sharp blade is essential when scoring Parmesan or other cheeses with a hard rind!
