Stronger than strong. Our cutting wires for the Parmesan Pro are specially designed to cut through ultra-hard Parmesan cheeses. The cheese cutting wire is 0.8 mm thick—0.2 mm thicker than the wires we typically recommend. If you score the cheese properly and turn the crank in the right direction, you can slice a large number of Parmesan cheeses effortlessly with this highly durable cutting wire.

Turn clockwise
Use our well-known scoring knife (554709) to create an incision across the entire cheese, not just the ends. Insert the cutting wire into the incision. Turn the wire clockwise by rotating the crank to the right. As long as you turn the crank in the correct direction, the cutting wire will last significantly longer!
